The clients of Music House came to us with the desire to create a better functioning, open plan, family space that could accommodate their growing family, as well as a space for socialising.
The final layout chosen for the scheme included an open plan kitchen-dining-living space which was achieved through a mixture of clever space reconfiguration and an extension to the rear.
In order to gain as much light as possible into the new space, specifically to capture the light from the setting sun, a picture window and slimline sliding doors were included in the design.
The client's brief was achieved by making a few simple, well thought out design moves. The house has been transformed from a series of segregated rooms to a usable, enjoyable, inspiring family space all the family and friends can enjoy.
